Baufeld 10 – An Interesting Mixed Use Building Concept
Where creativity cannot be bounded within parameters, architecture is also an innovative aspect that cannot be restricted to just villas and mansions. If you have always wanted to invest your hard earned money into a well designed apartment, surrounded by splendid views, then just have a look at this mixed use building in Hamburg, Germany. This HafenCity project has turned 157 hectares of land piece into a mixed use building that comprises 24 apartments, 1 restaurant and 2 commercial spaces. This wonderfully planned structural design by Love Architecture & Urbanism won 1st prize in International Competition and was completed in 2008.

On a personal note, I have always wished to have a house in San Francisco where I can relax after my hectic office schedules and Potrero House reminds me of my dream home. Cary Bernstein has dedicated a lot of time and her creative ideas to work on this project and turn the old cottage style design into a comfortable yet gorgeous structural plan.
